When I was younger I always thought I’d want to be a farmer, the idlic life described in Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder appealed. Quite glad I’m not a farmer – doesn’t really have much “romance” to it now.
The idea of a farmhouse on the other hand does appeal… big rooms, converted stables, lots of room and old skoool architecture. Nice :)
