Interesting article – how do we cover purity as an issue in church?
We did a session called “Purity – a dirty word?” with our 11-12 year olds. A few people questioned us doing it so young, but then by the time they’re 14 it might be too late! We looked at God’s call to purity and had a really open question time which was ace :)
It has to be done in an atmosphere of openness and honesty. It also can’t be that we suddenly pull it out the bag one week from nowhere – if we want to see purity amongst our young people we have to demonstrate and live it out week by week!
